  • Quentin VerCetty, Multidisciplinary storyteller, educator, and Afrofuturist, who will speak about their project A Monument For The Inquisitive and Critical.

  • Jordan Sook, Mixed media artist, who will speak to their installation Thank You For Keeping Us On Track at Union Station last year.

  • Sandra Laronde, Performance Artist / arts leader, creator, and Executive & Artistic Director of Red Sky Performance, who will position ideas of monumentality through dance and movement.

  • Karen Carter, President of Karen Carter & Assoc. Cultural Consulting, who has experience as Co-Founder & Director of Black Artists Networks Dialogue (BAND), and Founding Executive Director of Myseum of Toronto. Karen will speak to the Toronto cultural landscape and institutions in relation to monuments.
