ArtworxTO is a legacy investment in diversifying definitions of public art and opportunities for artists and the public. In these two chapters of ArtworxTO Talks, we want to acknowledge that what we traditionally call public art in Toronto, comes from the historic trajectory and language of the monument. We want to invite artists and practitioners to the table to discuss their own work that relates to this language of monument and how a future monumental landscape might look.
