ArtworxTO Spotlight: Selina Yung

Meet this week’s ArtworxTO’s Spotlight Emerging Artist Selina Yung, a self-taught analog collage artist. The constraint of using discarded and limited material drives my creativity to find unconventional ways to express ideas. Selina's collections amalgamate a variety of imagery, from vintage photographs, pictures from the natural world, to pop culture elements that are heavily influenced by films, comics, and sports. Her goal not only is to introduce a whole different perspective of collage, but also to bring relatable and entertaining creations to the audience.
