ArtworxTO Spotlight: SRE (Isaac Asare)

Meet #ArtworxTO’s Spotlight Emerging Artist Isaac Asare (SRE) @sreonly, a multi-disciplinary creative who is a performing artist, dancer, engineer, producer, and songwriter. Isaac was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario from a Jamaican/African background and grew up dancing and creating music at the age of 2-3 years old with whatever was in reach (pots, pans, djembe, and yoga ball). In July 2020, Isaac was accepted as one of the top 10 applicants for ViBE Art’s NExT Program and Emerging Artist roster. Isaac produced and engineered his first EP “Honda Vibez” followed by an album, supported by ViBE Art, titled, “Beauty In Disguyse”, which gave him the opportunity to be showcased at Meridian Hall. Isaac’s motivation and passion for music comes from life experiences and he hopes to inspire a generation of younger artists to achieve their dreams.
