ArtworxTO Spotlight: Alten Wilmot

The first #ArtworxTO Spotlight Emerging Artist Award goes to Alten Wilmot! Alten is a theatre and dance artist in Toronto who has the mantra "I am always creating, I am always performing, I am always sharing." Originally from Kitchener-Waterloo, Alten hails from Jamaican, Italian and Haudenosaunee ancestry. Alten won the Queer Emerging Artist Award from Buddies In Bad Times Theatre, and has started his own theatre company, Unwrap Theatre. His dream is to one day perform at Meridian Arts Centre @TOLiveGram and wants to further explore narrative and storytelling in concert dance.
