ArtworxTO Spotlight: Michael Faubert

This week's ArtworxTO Spotlight Emerging Artist Award goes to Michael Faubert, also known as @fauxbear. After years of pursuing an academic career in international politics, Fauxbear has switched gears to focus on his drawing and painting. He has also created a series of comics, animated shorts, and larger pieces using custom stencils and spray paint. The Toronto art scene is full of inspiration for Fauxbear; from galleries to tattoo shops, printmaking studios to street art, he is excited to contribute to Toronto's vibrant and eclectic scene.
