Description

The final exhibition in Spoken Soul Collective’s Scarborough the Backbone, titled Home on Native Land is now on view. This multidisciplinary exhibition featuring spoken word, and musical performances by artists Jennifer Alicia and Glamma set against photography by Anthony Gugliotta, a printed mural on canvas by visual artist and storyteller Mo Thunder and wood burned images by artist Kaya Joan. This immersive exhibition connects and inspires, celebrating the contributions of Indigenous Peoples who call settlers to reflect on their connection and responsibility to the land, particularly the land in so-called Scarborough's Rouge Valley.

A recorded performance by Jennifer Alicia and Glamma launches on-site at Scarborough Town Centre with the August new moon.
