A trip through Scarborough can make one feel as though they’ve entered a new country, with slang from immigrant cultures mixing to create new and exciting expressions. It’s a Scarborough Ting Still highlights the beauty of the language of Scarborough. Not familiar...? don’t worry, we’ve got you, and even you can immerse yourself in the language of Scarborough. Seen!  

Visual artist Omar ‘Oms’ Hopkinson uses the art of graffiti to showcase some of the words anyone from, or visiting Scarborough needs to know, while Joseph Adinkrah, gives us a hands-on tutorial of how these words can be used. Join us at this speaker's corner type kiosk, to learn this slang, and even record yourself putting it to use. Yuh done know!
